Vanessa was seen out and about in LA yesterday (8/1/11) with her good friend Laura New, wearing a flirty leopard print mini dress and a Tiger Lily shark tooth necklace that she has been spotted wearing frequently.

Ever since those Jasmine Villegas rumors began circulating in April, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s red hot teen romance had seemed to cool off. Now the “Monte Carlo” star opens up to Seventeen magazine about life and love.

“I don’t like hiding,” she admits of her relationship with the Bieb. “I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I’m eighteen, and I’m going to fall in love. I’m going to hang out with people, and I’m going to explore myself, and I’m okay with that.”

With being open about her relationship comes a backlash of love-struck tweens all over the world. Gomez has been the target of jealous Beliebers everywhere, but when asked whether or not she could relate to the crazy fan crushes, she responds: “Are you kidding me? I’m still thinking Zac Efron’s my husband.”

At this point, we think Efron would be the only logical choice for a Bieber upgrade in the future, but Gomez still won’t go for it.

“I wouldn’t touch that,” she adds. “I love Vanessa [Hudgens] way too much.”

Vanessa Hudgens admits distance doesn’t always make the heart grow fonder.

A major factor leading to her split from longtime love Zac Efron last December was the pair’s packed work schedules, which took them to opposite ends of the Earth at times.

“Long-distance relationships are hard no matter what,” Hudgens tells the April issue of Shape, out March 21.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t an app for that, says Hudgens, 22.

“When you don’t have face-to-face time, it’s just different. Having an iPhone helped, but it wasn’t the same.”

Although it’s over, the relationship remains a significant one in her life.

“We grew up together,” Hudgens says. “It was nice to have someone to share all of those experiences with.” She adds of Efron, who visited her (as a friend) on the set of her new movie, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, “It was a good thing. The relationship kept me grounded, and because I was with someone who knew me so well, I didn’t need to try to be someone I’m not.”

The good news: The break-up left her virtually unscathed – and ready to get back out there.

“I hope by the time I’m 30 to have a husband and maybe a baby,” she reveals. “I love children. They’re so much fun, and I would have a blast spoiling them!”

Vanessa Hudgens had the perfect companion for a weekend of music, art and partying in the desert: rumored beau Josh Hutcherson. The two decamped to Indio, Calif., for the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, and they hit up the A/X Armani Exchange Neon Carnival, where they were spotted dancing together far away from the fray. “They were dancing together really goofily, clearly unconcerned with keeping up appearances,” an onlooker says.

Rumors are flying around that Vanessa is now dating her Journey 2 co-star Josh Hutcherson. They have been photographed together a lot recently and yesterday were caught holding hands! On April 6 Vanessa attended the Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure premiere and former boyfriend Zac Efron did too, but they kept away from each other and weren’t pictured together. However, yesterday April 15 Vanessa went to the Coachella Valley Music Festival where she and Josh were seen holding hands! Here are pictures from both events:
