Just to catch everyone up on what’s been going on with Vanessa lately, she recently wrapped filming her latest project, Gimme Shelter, in which she plays a pregnant homeless teen who flees her abusive mother and seeks out her biological father. For the film she had to cut of a lot of her hair and she now sports a brand new pixie cute, although she says she misses her long locks!

Here’s what she had to say about filming Gimme Shelter and cutting her hair for the film:

Vanessa revealed that she cut her hair two months ago for her movie Gimme Shelter, but was sneaky enough to hide it from the paparazzi! “I cut it off as soon as I started the film which was about two months ago,” Vanessa says. “We’ve been shooting in the middle of nowhere, in some pretty hood areas—abandoned hospitals—so it took a while for the paparazzi to figure out where I was, which I am very thankful about.”

“I loved the project so much that I was willing to just go for it for my character to the point where I actually grabbed the scissors and was cutting my hair myself because my character cuts her hair in the beginning of the movie, and it wasn’t looking choppy enough.”

Ever since those Jasmine Villegas rumors began circulating in April, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber’s red hot teen romance had seemed to cool off. Now the “Monte Carlo” star opens up to Seventeen magazine about life and love.

“I don’t like hiding,” she admits of her relationship with the Bieb. “I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I’m eighteen, and I’m going to fall in love. I’m going to hang out with people, and I’m going to explore myself, and I’m okay with that.”

With being open about her relationship comes a backlash of love-struck tweens all over the world. Gomez has been the target of jealous Beliebers everywhere, but when asked whether or not she could relate to the crazy fan crushes, she responds: “Are you kidding me? I’m still thinking Zac Efron’s my husband.”

At this point, we think Efron would be the only logical choice for a Bieber upgrade in the future, but Gomez still won’t go for it.

“I wouldn’t touch that,” she adds. “I love Vanessa [Hudgens] way too much.”

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has given the CBS Films movie Beastly starring Vanessa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer, Mary-Kate Olsen, Peter Krause, Lisa Gay Hamilton and Neil Patrick Harris a June 28 release date on Blu-ray and DVD.

Beastly opened soft back in early March to the tune of $9.85 million, good enough for third amongst its opening weekend competitors. By the end of its theatrical run, Beastly managed $27.6 million in ticket sales which easily topped the estimated $17 million production budget.

The Blu-ray edition of Beastly will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features include the “Be Mine” music video by Kristina and the Dolls; and alternate ending; deleted scenes; ‘A Classic Tale Retold: The Story of Beastly’ featurette; and ‘Creating the Perfect Beast’ featurette.

You can pre-order Beastly on DVD for $17.99 or Blu-ray for $22.99 at Amazon.com.
